Convoy Meeting Window

Look for a shared same-day arrival window across three entered group schedules.

Your scenario

Starting values are examples, not recommendations. Replace them, read the method, then calculate.

What this worksheet helps you decide

Look for a shared same-day arrival window across three entered group schedules. It provides a transparent working copy of one defined question, not a complete journey plan. The relevant inputs and the scope of the calculation stay visible beside the result.

The most useful result is not always the most favorable number. It may be a shortfall that tells you to revisit an allowance, a comparison that exposes a hidden fee, or a reminder that your source information needs checking.

How to use it

  1. Define one scenario. Use information you have checked for your own trip. Replace every example field that differs from your plan.
  2. Check units and reference dates. Keep amounts in the units shown. Clock values share one reference clock; a currency label does not convert money.
  3. Calculate and read the components. Compare the result with the method below. If a source value is uncertain, calculate a second scenario rather than treating one answer as certain.
  4. Keep a copy deliberately. Download or print only after reviewing the result. Changing an input marks the old result stale; calculate again before exporting.

Method and calculation rules

Common start is the latest of the three earliest-arrival clocks. Common end is the earliest of the three latest-arrival clocks. The shared window is common end minus common start. It accommodates your chosen meeting duration only when that window is at least as long.

The method describes what is counted and what is not. A displayed quantity can be rounded for readability; rounding does not make an input more accurate. Do not substitute a result for facts this worksheet does not retrieve.

A worked example

09:00–11:00, 09:30–10:30 and 10:00–12:00 overlap from 10:00 to 10:30. A 20-minute meeting fits that entered 30-minute window.

Important limits

All windows must be on the same day and use the same reference clock. No live location, invitations, calendar connection or travel reliability is included.

Use this worksheet while stationary. It cannot monitor your journey, notify another traveler or provide emergency help. If a result appears wrong, stop relying on it and send a non-sensitive reproducible example through the Contact page.

Questions about this tool

Can a window go overnight?

Not in this tool. Use same-day windows with an end later than the start, or handle the two dates separately.

Does it tell the other groups?

No. Share the result yourself. It does not send messages or track vehicles.

The supplied calculation code runs in this open browser page. It does not create a tool account or automatically upload entered calculation values to a dedicated calculation server. Refreshing or leaving the page may clear the working copy. Downloaded or printed files are then under your control.
