Waypoint Schedule Builder

Build an ordered clock schedule from entered driving legs and stop allowances.

Your scenario

Starting values are examples, not recommendations. Replace them, read the method, then calculate.

What this worksheet helps you decide

Build an ordered clock schedule from entered driving legs and stop allowances. It provides a transparent working copy of one defined question, not a complete journey plan. The relevant inputs and the scope of the calculation stay visible beside the result.

The most useful result is not always the most favorable number. It may be a shortfall that tells you to revisit an allowance, a comparison that exposes a hidden fee, or a reminder that your source information needs checking.

How to use it

  1. Define one scenario. Use information you have checked for your own trip. Replace every example field that differs from your plan.
  2. Check units and reference dates. Keep amounts in the units shown. Clock values share one reference clock; a currency label does not convert money.
  3. Calculate and read the components. Compare the result with the method below. If a source value is uncertain, calculate a second scenario rather than treating one answer as certain.
  4. Keep a copy deliberately. Download or print only after reviewing the result. Changing an input marks the old result stale; calculate again before exporting.

Method and calculation rules

Start at the entered departure clock. For each leg, add its driving minutes to obtain arrival, then add its stop minutes to obtain the next departure. Day offsets are shown after midnight. All entries use one reference clock and are not time-zone conversions.

The method describes what is counted and what is not. A displayed quantity can be rounded for readability; rounding does not make an input more accurate. Do not substitute a result for facts this worksheet does not retrieve.

A worked example

An 08:00 departure with a 90-minute first drive arrives at 09:30. A 30-minute stop gives a 10:00 next departure. Later legs accumulate in the order entered.

Important limits

No route optimization, traffic, opening hours, reservations or live arrival information is provided. Travel durations and stop choices are entirely yours.

Use this worksheet while stationary. It cannot monitor your journey, notify another traveler or provide emergency help. If a result appears wrong, stop relying on it and send a non-sensitive reproducible example through the Contact page.

Questions about this tool

Does changing the order find a faster route?

No. The worksheet keeps the order you enter. It does not calculate distances between destinations.

Can it cross midnight?

Yes. A +1 day label means the following reference day. It does not infer a real date or time zone.

Your entries and working copy

The supplied calculation code runs in this open browser page. It does not create a tool account or automatically upload entered calculation values to a dedicated calculation server. Refreshing or leaving the page may clear the working copy. Downloaded or printed files are then under your control.
